History greenlit the six-part documentary series, Grant.
Produced by Appian Way Productions and RadicalMedia in association with Lionsgate Television, the documentary series, which is based on Ron Chernow’s biography, portrays the former U.S. president Ulysses S. Grant. Eli Lehrer, executive vice president of Programming for History, remarked, “This documentary will look at the Civil War and Reconstruction through the intriguing lens of Grant and we look forward to bringing Chernow’s fascinating portrait of this president to life.”
Appian Way is also producing a film based on the Chernow biography with Lionsgate, to be distributed under Summit Entertainment.
