Netflix signed a multi-year agreement with former President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama.
As part of the partnership, the Obamas will produce series and films under their banner, Higher Ground Productions, for Netflix. The Obamas will develop diverse content, ranging from scripted and unscripted series to documentaries and features. President Obama stated, “We hope to cultivate and curate the talented, inspiring, creative voices who are able to promote greater empathy and understanding between peoples, and help them share their stories with the entire world.”
