SPI International/FILMBOX is broadening its distribution in Europe by launching FilmBox Art House in Finland on the IPTV/OTT service Ålcom. FilmBox Art House offers classic cinema masterpieces, from renowned filmmakers such as Luis Buñuel, Federico Fellini, Akira Kurosawa, F.W. Murnau, and many others. Ålcom subscribers will now have access to the TV network. “We are excited about our first channel launch in Finland, which is a new market for SPI in Scandinavia where some of our networks debuted in Sweden a few years ago,” commented SPI/FILMBOX’s executive director Berk Uziyel.
