TRT World broadcasts the first part of its two-part documentary series Forgotten Children on March 28, 2018. The docu-series offers an overview of the PKK’s child recruitment network from Northern Iraq to Turkey, where it has been reported that between 2013 and 2015, some 2,000 children were recruited by the PKK. The PKK’s network extends across Europe, where the series looks at the organization’s infrastructure in the U.K., the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, and Denmark. The second part of the documentary broadcasts on April 4.
