A+E Networks Italy’s Blaze Italia continues to see steady audience growth since it launched a year ago. From October 2017 to February 2018, the channel experienced double-digit growth in all slots versus the previous five months. There was an increase by 52 percent in the total day slot and by 27 percent in the prime time slot. A+E Networks Italy’s general manager, Sherin Salvetti, stated, “We are absolutely pleased with the results achieved by Blaze in the past twelve months! The proof is in the data. The audience appreciates our offer, which is a unique mix within the Sky satellite platform, enhanced by effective on- and off-air communication, and by many original digital activities.” As a celebration for the channel’s one-year anniversary, Blaze Italia is scheduling several marathons for the brand’s most iconic series, such as Storage Wars and Alone.
