CITVC plans to expand the global marketing strategy for CCTV. As part of its initiative, CITVC hired MJ Global Communications (MGC) and Pink Orchid International (POi) to promote the Chinese broadcaster and production entity, including its trade market, the China International Film & TV Program Exhibition. MGC’s CEO MJ Sorenson and POi’s managing director Panayiota Pagoulatos will work alongside the company’s marketing and advertising to implement its new global strategy. Sorenson will handle press while Pagoulatos will be the marketing point person. “MJ and Panayiota have stellar reputations in the industry,” commented CITVC’s Jianing Shen (pictured). “We are confident that we will work in harmony to communicate the CCTV story within the international content community.”
