President of Youku, Alibaba Media & Entertainment Group, Yang Weidong, will present a keynote address at MIPTV, which will take place this year from April 9-12, 2018, in Cannes, France. Yang’s keynote will be part of MIPTV’s conference theme of “Creators in Demand.” He will outline his company’s international partnership strategy and advocate for continuing to bridge internet and broadcast channels. Yang Weidong has served as president of Alibaba Media and Entertainment Group since December 2017, and has served as president of Youku since October 2016.
