MIPDrama Buyers’ Summit, the revamped MIPDrama Screenings, will offer buyers an exclusive first-look showcase of six previously unseen drama series. The summit will take place in Cannes, France, on April 8, 2018, a day before the MIPTV market. Two Finnish series — Arctic Circle and Bullets — will be screened. The other titles include Cleaning Up, produced by Sister Pictures; Gigantes, from Spain’s Telefónica Studios; Pagan Peak, a German and Austria co-production; and Trigger, from Russia’s Sreda production. As a meeting place for about 450 international buyers and commissioners, the MIPDrama Buyers’ Summit highlights trends and high-end drama series.
