Rakuten TV will be launching its 4K HDR catalog on Smart TV in Italy. Rakuten TV’s 4K HDR catalog includes over 100 titles, including Spider-Man Homecoming, Baby Driver, and Baywatch (pictured), among others. The company’s CEO, Jacinto Roca, commented, “Working alongside the best producers of Smart TV and major Hollywood Majors, we are able to provide quick access and a wide selection of the latest titles coming out in 4K HDR.” Founded in 2009 by Roca in Barcelona, Rakuten TV is a video-on-demand platform that is currently distributed in 12 countries.
