Amazon Prime Video is partnering with Newen, Bavaria Fiction and Deutsche Telekom to present the comedy drama Germanized (Deutsch-Les-Landes), which will be the first French original series for the streaming service. Created by Alexandre Charlot and Franck Magnier, Germanized tells the story of an idyllic village in southwestern France that has financially plummeted. The mayor sells the town to a German automobile company, which causes conflicts for the French citizens. Amazon Prime Video will be the exclusive distribution partner for the series in France and Germany. The series will also be available on the SVOD platform EntertainTV Serien. Germanized will be available on both Amazon Prime Video and EntertainTV Serien by the end of 2018.
