Starz, a Lionsgate company, and Altice USA entered a multi-year carriage agreement. As part of the affiliation agreement, Altice USA has secured the rights to offer a full package of Starz and Starz Encore premium linear and HD channels as well as On-Demand and other online services through Optimum and Suddenlink cable systems. In addition, the agreement allows Altice USA to offer the Starz app to their customers through the Altice One entertainment service. The deal will effectively expand Starz’s subscriber base.
