NBS-AERho, the National Electronic Media Assocation, will convene its 76th annual convention in Bethesda, Maryland, from February 27-March 4, 2018. NBS-AERho is a national organization that gathers university students and entry-level professionals for the transition into the professional world of electronic media. Over 300 media students come together in the D.C. metro area for four days of keynotes, panels, workshops and tours on everything from TV, radio, sports, sales/marketing, programming, social media and more. Speakers include Robert Scanlon, president of Velocity and TEN Video Content at Discovery Communications; Edith Chapin, executive editor at NPR News; Steve Cheskin, vice president of Programming at Reelz Network; Dan Salerno, vice president of Programming at National Geographic Wild; Bob Constantini of Westwood One Radio; and Gary Lico, past national president of NBS-AERho.
