WOW! Unlimited Media’s Frederator Networks and Sony Pictures Animation launched the first animated short developed through its animation incubator GO! Cartoons yesterday. The Summoning is the debut cartoon by Elyse Castro. As part of GO! Cartoons!, Frederator Studios and Sony Pictures Animation selected 12 shorts to be funded by Sony. The next short selected to premiere will be Boots by Alison Cowles and David Cowles on November 21, after which the following cartoon shorts will premiere every other week.
