DISCOP Johannesburg 2017 is committed to assisting independent producers with its The Next Gen Program, which runs concurrent with the market and features speakers and industry experts from major corporations, smaller companies, and select start-ups. The program is aimed for independent producers to acquire the tools to improve their pitching, networking, and business skills. The Next Gen Program will feature panel discussions and talks on alternative distribution and funding opportunities, virtual reality content production and distribution, and the developing relations between Francophone and Anglophone Africa, among other topics. DISCOP Johannesburg takes place from October 25-27, 2017.
