Andy Kaplan, the president of Sony Pictures Television Networks, was appointed as chair for the 45th International Emmy Awards Gala, which will be held on November 20, 2017, in New York City. At the gala, Kaplan will present the Founders Emmy award to actor Kevin Spacey and the Directorate Emmy to Grupo Televisa CEO and president Emilio Azcárraga Jean. The nominees for the 2017 International Emmys will be revealed in September.
