The New York Television Festival announced its official selections for the Scripts Competition, which this year has expanded to include drama pilot scripts. The 20 comedy and drama scripts will be showcased at the NYTVF, which will take place from October 23-28, 2017. The comedy script selections include Area 51 written by Josh Smooha, Everything’s Fine written by Hannah Klein, and Maternal Instinct written by Elizabeth Stamp, among others. The drama script selections include Fragile State written by Andrea Janakas, Left Back written by Tijuana Ricks, and Sea Change written by Anya Meksin and William Gerrard, among others.
