Kino Lorber announced the New York City theatrical run of POP AYE at Film Forum beginning June 28. Directed by Kirsten Tan, winner of the World Cinema Dramatic Special Jury Award for Screenwriting at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, POP AYE follows successful Bangkok architect Thana experiencing a late-midlife crisis. Thana encounters an elephant, named Popeye, and together they go on a road trip.
