History gave a straight-to-series order for the original drama Blue Book from A+E Studios. The 10-episode series looks at the top secret United States Air Force-sponsored investigation of UFO-related cases in the 1950s and ’60s. Blue Book is produced by A+E Studios in association with Compari Entertainment. A+E Networks owns the worldwide distribution rights for the series. The executive directors include Robert Zemeckis, Jack Rapke, and Jackie Levine.
