The Zanzibar International Film Festival in partnership with mahala.tv has announced the inaugural SOKO FILAM East Asian Film & TV Market, held from July 12-14 in Stone Town, Zanzibar City. The three-day market will gather industry stakeholders to buy and sell film and TV content. In addition, there will be workshops on marketing and distribution, among other topics. SOKO FILAM is supported by mahala.tv, a new film distribution and funding platform that is launching later this year.
