Out of 16 selected projects, the five-member jury for the Series Mania Co-Production Forum chose the drama series Fertile Crescent as the winner for the Series Mania Project Award. As part of the honor, the team behind Fertile Crescent also received a monetary prize of 50,000 euros to aid in financing the project in development. Fertile Crescent is the story of Antoine who travels to the Fertile Crescent is in search of his sister, who he believes is part of the Female Kurdish Fighters.
