Breakthrough Entertainment and YTV’s L.M. Montgomery’s Anne of Green Gables arrived in Tokyo, Japan to celebrate the film’s theatrical releasae on May 6, 2017. The lead actress Ella Ballentine surprised the Japanese actress Yui Okada, who voices the main character Anne Shirley. The film has already aired successfully on Canada’s YTV, the U.K.’s ITV, Germany’s ARD, and the U.S.’s PBS.
