FOX has acquired Showtime at the Apollo as a weekly series, with Steve Harvey as host, that is a reimagining of the original talent showcase series. Harvey will be joined by different celebrities in comedy and music in each episode at the Apollo Theater. In the two Showtime at the Apollo specials that aired previously on FOX, John Legend, Chaka Khan, Tracey Morgan, and many others, made appearances. Showtime at the Apollo will debut in the 2017-2018 season.
