Sony Pictures Television Networks has picked up the linear rights to Orange Is The New Black to premiere on Sony Channel in the U.K. Season 1 of the Netflix original series will launch as a double bill beginning April 19. Orange Is The New Black, a series based on the book of the same title, received 12 Emmy Award nominations, winning three, for its first season.
