Toei Animation is reintroducing the anime series Mazinger Z as a forthcoming feature film. Mazinger Z began in 1972 as a serialized manga by the cartoonist Go Nagai. The manga was adapted into an anime TV series by Toei Animation. The upcoming film, produced by Toei Animation, aims to recapture the energy of the original series.
