At the Berlinale Co-Production Market, running from February 12-15, three monetary prizes were given to narrative film projects. The Eurimages Co-Production Development Award was awarded to The Wife of the Pilot, directed by Anne Zohra Berrached. The prize money of 20,000 euros is intended as a development grant. In addition, the Verwertungsgesellschaft der Film und Fernsehproduzenten (VFF) gave its VFF Talent Highlight Award, which includes an endowment of 10,000 euros, to The Bus to Amerika, shown at the market by director Derya Durmaz and producer Nefes Polat. In addition, the ARTE International Prize was awarded to Lost Country, a project by Serbian director Vladimir Perisić, which bestowed the project with a 6,000 euro prize.
