A+E Networks has hired Youngsun Soh as general manager of A+E Networks Korea. In her position based in Seoul, Korea, Soh will be responsible for developing business strategies, as well as building the brand’s audience and digital presence. Previously, Soh served as market director at Twitter Korea, where she was responsible for business development efforts and user growth. Soh will report to Saugato Banerjee, general manager, North Asia.
Dynamic Television has appointed Tasja Abel to vice president of Acquisitions, Sales & Co-Productions. Prior to joining Dynamic TV, Abel served an eight-year stint at ZDF Enterprises, where she most recently worked as vp of Drama, managing acquisitions and development along with international sales. Based in Berlin, Abel will report to Klaus Zimmerman, managing partner of Dynamic Television.
Seven Network Australia’s U.S. representative and general manager of the L.A. Bureau, Zane Bair, will be stepping down from his role at the end of the month. After working for the last 36 years with Seven, Bair plans to retire.
