The 23rd annual Screen Actors Guild Awards were held last night, with a number of actors using their acceptance speeches to speak out against President Trump’s immigration policy. Among the night’s winners include Denzel Washington for outstanding performance by an actor in a leading role in Fences, Mahershala Ali for outstanding performance by a male actor in a supporting role in Moonlight, Viola Davis for outstanding performance by a female actor in a supporting role in Fences, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus for outstanding performance by a female actor in a comedy series in Veep. In addition, Lily Tomlin received the Lifetime Achievement Award.
