Black Spot is set to open and make its world premiere at the Berlinale Special Series, during the 67th Berlin International Film Festival. The series created by Mathieu Missoffe is the first French TV series to be selected for the ‘Berlinale Special Series’ category. Directed by Thierry Poiraud and Julien Despaux, Black Spot is set in the small bordertown Villefranche that is experiencing a curious spike in crime. The new district prosecutor and the local sheriff work together to figure out to solve cases. The series premieres on February 13, 2017 in Berlin.
