Bloom Media has named Ryan D. Friscia as director of Finance. Prior to his new appointment, Friscia was the senior manager of Finance. Friscia will manage all of Bloom’s financial operations and will report to president Alex Walton.
Sundog Pictures hired Nicky Huggett as head of development. Huggett previously served as head of development at Popkorn TV, where she worked across a number of programs, including the documentary Rich Kids of Instagram and the prime time series Big Ballet.
A+E Networks has promoted Ellen Lovejoy to vice president, head of Sales, Americas and Formats. Before her promotion, Lovejoy had been overseeing Content Sales to the U.S. and Canada, and Global Format Sales. In her new position, she will also oversee the Latin America and U.S. Hispanic market. In addition, Helen Jurado and Bryan Gabourie will be joining Lovejoy’s team as senior directors of Content Sales. Jurado comes from Cisneros Media Distribution, where she served as vice president of Sales & Business Development. Gabourie joined A+E Networks in the summer of 2016, prior to which he served as vice president, International Distribution & Development, at Rive Gauche Television.
