NBCUniversal International Formats announced its first international sale for NBC reality game show, Spartan: Ultimate Team Challenge. Discovery’s Kanal 5 has commissioned Spartan, a local version that will air early next year. The show will be produced by Nordisk Denmark. Based on the Spartan Race brand, Spartan: Ultimate Team Challenge elite athletes, teams of friends, families and co-workers must work together as they race across obstacle courses. Spartan: Ultimate Team Challenge premiered on NBC in June. In additional NBCUni news How Do I Look? has been acquired by E! Entertainment Television in Mexico. Titled Cambiame El Look, the 13-part series commission marks the first Latin American version of the format. The series will see style-challenged people nominated by their family and friends to get the opportunity to have the ultimate style makeover. The fashion panel will change their look and help them to find themselves with a whole new image. Produced by Boomdog for NBCUniversal International Networks, Cambiame El Look will go into production in Mexico this month and air in 2017.
