HBO Europe has appointed Miguel Salvat commissioning editor of Original Programming in Spain, effective January 9, 2017. Based in Madrid, he will be responsible for all HBO Europe’s original programming commissioned in Spain. Salvat joined Canal+ in 1990, where he was a producer and part of the team that successfully launched pay television in Spain. He also held titles at Movistar, Paramount Comedy Channel, and WBZ-TV Boston.
