Scripps Networks Interactive has expanded distribution of Food Network in Brazil. The global culinary lifestyle channel launched today on pay-TV platform NET and Claro HDTV. All programming on the Brazilian feed will be dubbed and subtitled in Portuguese. Local original productions include Cozinha Na Laje, presented by Chef Pedro Benoliel, who cooks regional dishes from Vidigal hill in Rio de Janeiro. Benoliel also hosts Tempero Na Mochila, where he explores Brazilian coastal cuisine. Chef Luiza Hoffmann hosts instructional series Biz. The lineup also features including Beat Bobby Flay; 30 Minute Meals; Giada at Home and Everyday Italian. The channel is distributed in both standard and high definition via two individual feeds, Spanish and Portuguese, reaching more than 15 million homes across Latin America.
