Starting on October 2, Canal 22 Mexico’s crew will travel to Guanajuato, the host city of the Festival Internacional Cervantino.  Known as “El Cervantino,” Canal 22 Mexico will broadcast live the inauguration of the Festival, covering the plays, concerts, theatre and dance productions, and art exhibitions, which feature performers from over 40 countries. The Festival was founded in 1972, and debuted short plays by Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra (the author of Don Quixote) in the city’s plazas.  In addition to bringing viewers the best of the featured events, Canal 22 Mexico will broadcast live the closing ceremonies of the Cervantino Festival.
