Actor and executive producer Kiefer Sutherland will deliver the Media Mastermind Keynote on October 17 at MIPCOM 2016. Sutherland, known for his role in Fox drama series 24 as special agent Jack Bauer, will next be seen starring in Designated Survivor. The series, from The Mark Gordon Company and ABC Studios, is distributed internationally by eOne. Designated Survivor follows a lower level United States Cabinet member, Tom Kirkman (Sutherland), who is suddenly appointed President after an attack during the State of the Union kills everyone above him in the Presidential line of succession. MIPCOM, a global entertainment content market, takes place in Cannes, France from 17-20 October 2016.
