The 64th edition of the San Sebastian Film Festival, which runs September 16-24, will close with a screening of Jerome Salle’s The Odyssey (L’Odyssee), about the life of Jacques Cousteau. The film explores the underwater explorer’s career and relationship with his son, Philippe.  The screenplay is based on the books Mon père, le Commandant Jacques-Yves Cousteau, by Jean Michel Cousteau, and Capitaine de la Calypso, by Albert Falco. The film will be screened September 24, following the closing gala.
