Kvartal TV, a new joint venture from Kvartal 95 and 1 + 1 Media, launched yesterday. The comedy channel focuses on drawing a family, and airs without commercials. The channel broadcasts series, formats and animation from from Kvartal’s catalogue, including Vecherniy Kvartal, Humor Cup, Kiev in the Evening, among others. The broadcasting area of Kvartal TV via AMOS 2 satellite covers almost the entire territory of Europe apart from Spain, Portugal, western France, Norway, northern part of Sweden and northwest U.K. The channel will soon be available in the networks of providers and Viasat DTH-platform.
