André Forcier’s Embrasses-moi comme tu m’aimes (Kiss Me Like a Lover) will open the 40th edition of the Montreal World Film Festival. This is Forcier’s fourth feature in the festival since his first nomination in 1990. The film takes place in Montreal during 1940, and follows a young man, Pierre Sauvageau, who wants to join the army but has to take care of his sister Berthe, who is paraplegic. The Montreal Film Festival will run August 20 to September 5.
