The Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television has announced the call for entries for the 2017 Canadian Screen Awards in the Television and Digital Media categories. Producers are invited to submit their work for consideration through August 19, 2016 by visiting the Academy website. Film entries will open for submission in mid-September 2016. The inaugural Canadian Screen Awards Gala Honoring Excellence in Digital & Immersive Storytelling will take place during Canadian Screen Week from March 6-12, 2017. The Academy also announced new award categories in the fields of Digital and Immersive Media.
