National Geographic Channel has greenlit of a second season of its Emmy-nominated series, The Story of God with Morgan Freeman. From executive producers Morgan Freeman, Lori McCreary and James Younger of Revelations Entertainment, the first season earned a 2016 Emmy award nomination for Outstanding Informational Series or Special. The new episodes of the series will again take viewers around the world in search of answers to some of the great questions of the universe through the lens of the world’s major religions, science, anthropology and archaeology.The Story of God with MorganFreeman will air globally in early 2017 on National Geographic Channels in 171 countries in 45 languages, and in Spanish on Nat Geo Mundo. The new season of the show will explore topics including “Is There a Chosen One?” “Proof of God” and “Heaven and Hell.”
