Canal 22 Internacional, the arts and entertainment channel, will debut historical drama Carlos, Rey Emperador on July 3. The primetime series tells the story of 15th Century ruler Charles V, the first king to rule Castile and Aragon simultaneously. The series begins with the king’s life as a young man, and follows through his reign as one of Europe’s most powerful leaders. Carlos, Rey Emperador is a companion series to Isabel, which recently completed its run on Canal 22.
