AMC Global has picked up anthology drama series The Terror, which will air on AMC Global in Europe and Latin America in 2017. The series, which was announced for the U.S. in March, is an adaption of the Dan Simmons’ novel. The Terror follows a Royal Naval crew in 1847 that is stalked by a mysterious predator. Scott Free, Emjag Productions and Entertainment 360 are producing the 10-episode drama in association with AMC Studios. Ridley Scott (The Good Wife), David W. Zucker (The Good Wife), Alexandra Milchan (The Wolf of Wall Street), Scott Lambert (Paranoia) and Guymon Casady (Game of Thrones) will serve as executive producers.
