Caracol, one of Colombia’s top networks, and Netflix have reached a licensing agreement for Sobreviviendo a Pablo Escobar, new series currently under development and La Niña. These productions will be available exclusively to Netflix subscribers as first window in Latin America, the U.S., Canada, Spain, Portugal and Andorra over the next year. Sobreviviendo a Pablo Escobar is a series based on John Jairo Velasquez’s autobiography, which details his life as Escobar’s hit man and time in prison. La Niña is based on a true story of a former guerrilla who returns to her family and reintegrates into society. La Esclava Blanca (pictured) is also included in the licensing agreement.
