NHK World-Japan will start adding multi-lingual subtitles to select live-streamed programs.
The Japanese broadcaster streams its English-language television programs to sync with global viewers. The international service will offer subtitles in Chinese, French, Indonesian, Spanish, Thai, and Vietnamese. The new initiative will begin this month and continue for approximately four months.
