Univision News hired John B. Perez to senior vice president, Production and Technical Operations. Perez previously worked at Univision Network since 1989, where he served in various capacities within production and technical areas. In his new position, Perez is responsible for leading and managing all technical and operational aspects of the news division of Univision Communications.

K7 Media appointed Michelle Lin as an Asia-Pacific researcher. In her role, Lin, who speaks Mandarin, will specialize in the analysis of TV content in China and Asia Pacific. The international media consultancy company is extending its client base into the Chinese market with its first client, Houghton Street Media, based in Beijing.
