Starz greenlit the scripted drama Sweetbitter, ordering six half-hour episodes.  Based on the novel of the same name by Stephanie Danler, Sweetbitter follows 22-year-old Tess who works at a downtown restaurant in New York City, where her life becomes an adventure of drugs, alcohol, love, and fine dining. Danler wrote the script for the first episode. Danler and Stu Zicherman will serve as executive producers with Plan B Entertainment.
