American version of the British sitcom Peep Show is in the works at Starz. The original series, which aired for nine seasons on U.K.’s Channel 4, developed a cult following. Peep Show follows two dysfunctional friends experiencing the challenges of adjusting to the professional world. The half-hour comedy is shot from the first-person perspectives of the two main characters. The series creators Sam Bain and Jesse Armstrong will be consulting producers on the U.S. adaptation, and Eli Jorne (Blunt Talk, Son of Zorn) will handle showrunning duties.
