The 14th edition of the Morelia Film Festival will dedicate a program to the Berlin International Film Festival, as part of the festival’s focus on Germany this year. The jointly curated selection will include ten films from the Berlinale 2016 program, the “Germany 1966—Redefining Cinema” retrospective, among other film history projects. Additionally, Berlinale initiatives such as the World Cinema Fund and Berlinale Talents will be presented, and director Dieter Kosslick and other festival representatives will present the Berlinale Spotlight. The Morelia Festival runs October 21-30, and the Berlinale Spotlight Program will be published in September.
