Actress Rosario Dawson (Daredevil, Sin City) will join the EPIX limited original documentary series America Divided. Executive produced by Norman Lear, Shonda Rhimes and Common, the docu-series explores narratives of structural racism and poverty, from biases in the criminal justice system to the housing crisis in New York City. Dawson, who vocally supported Bernie Sanders, will profile the ongoing causes and legacy of the Flint, Michigan water crisis. Her segment, which will profile the citizens who exposed the lead in the water supply, investigate allegations of a cover up and explore the policies that allowed the public health disaster to happen, will begin production this month.
