China’s online brand Sohu, and its online streaming service TV.Sohu, has entered a co-development deal with Armoza Formats for lifestyle format The Running Show. This deal marks their first joint collaboration. The Running Show, which they launched this week at MIPTV, has been commissioned for its first season in China, which is slated to air early this summer on TV.Sohu.The Running Show crosses genres by combining the question-and-answer of a talk show with the energy of an entertainment format when the host goes jogging with a variety of celebrity guests, including pop stars, comedian, stylist, magician or relationship expert. In other Armoza news, Germany’s Endemol Shine has picked up Armoza’s food-centric docu-reality The Foodies. The Foodies follows a group of food lovers as they eat and critique in restaurants. This is the culinary series’ first deal.
