Lee Daniels’ new pilot STAR will begin production this December in Atlanta, GA. The pilot, from 20th Century Fox Television, is written, directed and executive-produced by Daniels. Tom Donaghy will serve as a writer and executive producer on the pilot with Daniels. An international casting search for the series talent is also underway, in search of finding three women leads to play young artists. The project is the first to emerge from Daniels’ multi-year overall deal with 20th Century Fox Television.
